of your No. 100 was inferior in quality.
Upon tracing our records, we find that our sipping clerk shipped sample
No. 5 Cotton Goods instead of those of sample No. 10 for which your order
was given.
We are very sorry for this carelessness on our part. In order to adjust your
claim at this time, we would like either to send you the right goods as soon
as possible or to give you a special allowance of 20% off the invoice amount.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience we have caused you and
let us know which of the above two adjustments is preferable to you.
